Poem by Micheal adapted from A.J. Hynard's Poem

...And a plane soaring through the air,
And children screaming as they run,
And a tree waving at us,
And a park waiting to be played on,
And a sandpit waiting to be built on,
And monkey-bars swinging to and fro,
And logs that have been stepped on,
And music singing through the air,
And birds chirping their cheerful songs,
And a mailbox eating up the mail,
And a car waiting in the driveway,
And children screaming as they run,
And a plane soaring through the air...

FEEDBACK FROM ROOM 10 TEACHER KELVIN ROAD SCHOOL
Hi Mrs Raman and Children in Room 12

I have just been sitting here, after school, listening to your music and watching the photos of the Whanau Evening….

I have also just read your poems and stories. I am so impressed with the high standard of your writing ….. I get a special thrill reading writing by children I used to teach when they were younger. Well done to you all.
